Glass Beads from Russian Villages in the Middle Irtysh Area with Reference to the
Trade Links of Russian Settlers in 17th–18th Century Siberia

The present article sets forth the results of morphological, technological, and chemical analyses of glass beads from
17th–18th century Russian sites in the Middle Irtysh region. Based on the results presented the origin of the beads is
assessed and trade links are tentatively reconstructed.
