Archaeological Studies of the Kamenny Ambar (Olgino) Fortifi ed Settlement

The article presents some results of the archaeological studies carried out at the fortifi ed settlement, Kamenny Ambar (Olgino), attributable to the Sintashta culture of the Southern Trans-Urals. The excavated structures include fortifi cations and dwellings. The artifacts are described, and a relative chronology of the ceramics is suggested with regard to stratigraphy.
